Story books are perfect for teaching kids about tradition and value of thanksgiving. There are many thanksgiving books written specially for kids. Some of them just state the facts of thanksgiving tradition with illustration whereas others teach kids about the essence of thanksgiving. I've tried to list all these type of books in this list. It is a colorful story of how macy's parade was started by Tony Sarg. The story is definitely interesting for both kids and adults. Excellent Colorful Illustration.

This illustration book on thanksgiving is compilation of four different stories. Each story has different illustrator for the stories namely - For the day, For the Home, For the Earth and For the Night. Illustration looks more like vintage and will remind any adult of his childhood thanksgiving time.
Though stories are not really factual but every story passes message of thanksgiving to kids. Stories are easy to remember and kids will easily pick up the words from it.
